YOUTH GROUP
Philip has served as the youth minister at Mt. Juliet church of Christ since 2010. He and his wife Laura have two children, Lucas and Holley. Philip received his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Bible from Freed-Hardeman University ('06) and has been doing full-time youth ministry since 2007. He has authored two books: "The Lunch Ladies" and "Take Route," and serves as the chairman of Evangelism University, a program held each year in Savannah, TN that exists to glorify God by helping high school students share Jesus with people.
A note from Philip:
"I am truly humbled by God's blessings. God's doing some amazing things in the youth ministry at Mt. Juliet, and has blessed me with a front row seat to watch Him work in the lives of some pretty amazing teenagers. I hope that you'll allow us to show you Who is responsible for what's going on here!"

Blaine McKinney- Youth Minister in Residence
Blaine McKinney, originally from Owensville, MO, started his work as our youth minister in residence in early 2019. He has worked with the Mt. Juliet Youth Group for the previous two summers. He graduated from Freed-Hardeman University with an undergraduate degree in Missions and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Ministry.
Laura Jenkins- Counselor
Laura has served as a counselor at Mt. Juliet church of Christ since 2010. She and her husband Philip have two children, Lucas and Holley. Laura received her Bachelor of Science in Social Work (B.S.S.W.) from Freed-Hardeman University ('06). She received her Master of Science in Social Work (M.S.S.W.) from UT-Nashville ('11). Laura loves spending time at home with her family and is passionate about helping people.
